About

The Heyde Center for Arts is a gorgeous, versatile, historic building that is perfect for any occasion from large business conferences and workshops to small meetings, company parties and weddings.

We have a large auditorium with the advantage of flexible seating. It can seat approximately 240 people set up banquet style and 400 people set up theater style.

If you wish to hold both your ceremony and your reception at the Heyde Center for the Arts, we will take care of changing over the theater style set up to the banquet set up for you while you relax with family and friends. We also have a separate room for a buffet line and a full bar that can be staffed at an additional fee.

Also, if you want help to make it a hassle-free event, we have added Day of Coordination services that can be provided for an additional fee.

Venue Rental Packages Include:

  • Choice of Rooms - the Heyde Center has a variety of spaces that can be rented. The auditorium can seat up to 400 set up theater style or 240 for a seated meal. Additionally, there are a number of other rooms that can seat from 20 to 75 people.
  • Tables (rectangle and/or round) and chairs provided with room set-up and clean up included.
  • Adjustable chandelier lighting
  • Choice of caterer along with a caterer’s prep room
  • Food and beverage serving room
  • Internet access

Rates & Amenities

The Essential Package ($1,200) *

Some of the features of this package include (but are not limited to):

  • Auditorium Rental for a total of 8 hours (including set up time).

  • Customizable Packages (e.g., 13-hour ceremony, reception and dance combination for $2,350)

Peace of Mind - $1,950 (8 hours)/$3,100 (13 hours) *

The Peace of Mind Package includes everything in The Essential Package plus a dedicated "Day-of-Event Coordinator" specifically tailored for our venue. No need to hire someone from outside to coordinate your event.

  • Initial Consultation - Meeting with you to discuss plans, timelines and specific needs for your special event.
  • Finalizing Details - Someone onsite to finalize all the logistical details and confirming vendors, layouts, setups, and others in the days leading up to the special day.
  • Event Coordination - We will coordinate when vendors arrive, the specific timeline for activities such as the ceremony entrance, speeches, first dance, cake cutting, and any other important details.
  • Onsite Management - Being present for the setup, overseeing that activities stay on schedule, and making adjustments as needed.

Simply Blissful Package - $2,450 (8 hours)/$3,600 (13 hours) *

The Simply Blissful Package includes everything in Peace of Mind Package plus:

  • Decoration Oversight - Overseeing the set up on your decorations, seating arrangements, and other specific details.
  • Rehearsal Coordination - Organization and implementation of the rehearsal for the ceremony ensuring that everyone knows their roles and timing.
  • Photography Assistance - Assisting the photographer with onsite photography.
  • Payment Disbursement - Ensuring the vendors get their payments that evening so you do not have to be interrupted.
  • Customized Services - Tailoring other services to your needs and wishes, such as cultural or religious traditions.

Additional Time/Fee

Each additional hour is $100 on any of the above packages. If you would like the building closed to the public during normal hours fee is $150 per hour.
