The Art of Rosemaling 1 - For the Experienced, Beginner, Curious
Jeff Nelson is offering an artistic gathering to explore and share techniques and ideas for rosemal painting (Norwegian folk-art form). The purpose of this gathering is to develop a supportive community of rosemal painters. There will be no specific techniques taught; however, Jeff will have a large piece in progress as an example to stimulate questions and discussion. All participants are encouraged to bring a piece they are currently working on or plan to work on. We will discuss the differences and considerations of materials needed to complete a painting. Cost $10 per person. ** There will be minimal materials available for those who wish to try this painting style for an additional charge of $10. March 22, 9 am – 12 pm
