Drawing is a wonderful hobby and the foundation for all the visual arts. This process-oriented workshop is for those who want to further develop their basic skills and gain more pleasure in drawing; it is a good follow-up to “You CAN Draw!” or any other beginner-intermediate drawing class. We will focus on learning to see and measure accurately, loosening up to be a bit more expressive, and developing various drawing techniques. We’ll work in pencil, pen, and charcoal. You may be trying some materials that are new to you. The materials required are minimal as I provide some of what we will be using. The supplies on the following list are available at all art stores, many craft shops, and often at the big variety retailers. Please dress in your “grubbies” so you can get messy. We will only break for 30 minutes, so please bring a bag lunch.
